The spread of diseases is increasing rapidly due to changing lifestyle, increasing pollution, weather and weak immunity. Where everything from viral infection to mental health is causing problems.

This year, some diseases have made the most headlines. Because of which discussion on health has become a major topic among the people.

viral flu

This year, the highest number of cases were reported due to viral flu, influenza and respiratory tract infection. Sudden increase in temperature, poor air quality and seasonal changes doubled the cases of these diseases. Its effect was more visible in children and the elderly, due to which crowding in hospitals increased.

lifestyle diseases

Diseases like diabetes, high BP, thyroid and obesity troubled people this year also. Apart from wrong eating habits, an increase in cases was seen due to less sleep and less physical activity.

dengue and malaria

During the summer and rainy months, diseases like dengue, chikungunya and malaria continued to spread rapidly. Dengue cases reached new records in many states. Abnormal monsoon, intermittent rains and water logging were considered to be the major reasons behind this.

stomach problems

Food poisoning, gastroenteritis and stomach infection have been in the headlines this time. A large population was affected due to contaminated food and water during the summer season. Cases of vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration increased manifold in hospitals. Eating too much outside has also been a major reason for this.

mental stress

Problems like anxiety, depression and stress have increased rapidly due to unbalanced lifestyle of children and adults due to constant screen time and work pressure. Mental health is becoming a necessity in today’s time, on which people are also talking openly.

According to experts, these health challenges of 2025 remind us to strengthen our immunity and improve our lifestyle and get tested on time. In the times to come, caution and awareness will be the biggest weapon to prevent disease. Along with healthy food, exercise is also very important in the routine.
