New Delhi. BJP national working president Nitin Nabin on Friday held his first official meeting with the party’s national general secretaries and discussed several issues including plans to further strengthen the party. Party’s National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh, Joint General Secretary (Organization) Shivprakash and National General Secretaries Arun Singh, Sunil Bansal, Radhamohan Das Agarwal, Vinod Tawde, Dushyant Gautam and Tarun Chugh were present in the meeting held at the BJP headquarters here.
Both Arun Singh and Radha Mohan Das Agarwal are also Rajya Sabha members of BJP. Nabeen was appointed as the national working president of the BJP on December 14 and is likely to eventually become the national president succeeding JP Nadda, signaling a generational shift in the ruling party.
“Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Working President Nitin Naveen today held a meeting with the party’s national general secretaries at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi and held detailed discussions with them on various topics,” the BJP said in a statement. The statement said this was Naveen’s “first official meeting” with the party’s national general secretaries after assuming the charge of national working president.
The BJP said that many topics including the party’s organization and upcoming programs were discussed in the meeting. “In the meeting, the National Working President said that we all should work together with full dedication to fulfill the vision of our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and further strengthen the party,” the statement said.
