Automatic Driving Training: More than half a dozen instances of burning moving automobiles have been reported in the state capital alone, and these incidents are becoming increasingly frequent. The precise cause of fires in vehicles and buses is usually still unknown; however, suspects include things like installing extra equipment and tampering with electrical wiring.
The Automatic Driving Training Center in Lucknow will implement specialized training programs aimed at reducing vehicle fire dangers in response to this rising issue. The goal of the two-day training is to provide drivers useful information to protect their cars and themselves.
The center, which is situated in Udet Khera Maunda, will serve as a complete driving instruction center as well as a testing facility for drivers suggested by the Transport Nagar and Deva Road ARTO offices. There will be seven courses available, ranging in length from two days to six weeks (one and a half months), with costs set between Rs 1,000 and Rs 10,000. The training’s main advantage is that participants will be more equipped to easily pass the automated driving test track.
To get the center up and running by January, preparations are under progress. Although an official announcement has not yet been made, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has suggested mandating a Rs 1,000 refresher course for drivers looking to renew their licenses. Two days would be needed to finish the suggested 10-hour refresher course. Plans to require this kind of training certification for drivers of government vehicles every five years are also being discussed.
Everyone, including seasoned drivers, should take driving lessons, according to ARTO (Administration) Pradeep Kumar Singh. Road accidents may be considerably decreased if persons who are already operating automobiles also enroll in refresher courses. “Compared to many driving training schools operating elsewhere, this center has more resources,” he stated.
The center will also include a car maintenance course in addition to driving instruction. For practical instruction, a special room furnished with car parts has been built up. The cost of this two-day, 12-hour training is Rs 1,000.
