Materials:
- Mugdal
- Turdal
- Turmeric
- salt
- Red chillies
- Ginger garlic
- Curry leaves
- Onion
- tomato
- Red chillies
- Coriander
- cumin
- Dry red chillies
- Mustard
- ghee

Action:
- To make dal tadka, firstly, take rinsed turdal and mugdal in a cooker. After that, add water, turmeric, salt as per taste as required, close the lid and keep the dal to cook.
- After 5 to 6 whistles of the cooker, the dal will be cooked properly. Strain the cooled dal with whiskey.
- Heat ghee in a pan. After roasting mustard seeds, hing, cumin seeds in hot ghee, add curry leaves, finely chopped onion, tomato and ginger garlic paste and cook on low flame.
- Then add turmeric, red chillies, garam masala and mix well. After roasting spices in oil, add dal and mix.
- After the dal boils, add water if needed. Then add finely chopped coriander and turn off the heat.
- Heat ghee in a frying pan, add crushed garlic and red chillies and fry the dal.
- Ready Punjabi style dal tadka made in easy way.
