Putrada Ekadashi 2025: In Hindu tradition, every date holds unique importance, but the eleventh day of each month is especially revered. This day is associated with the Ekadashi fast, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the universe's preserver. Engaging in virtuous activities such as worship, charitable acts, or devotional singing on this day is believed to quickly earn the Lord's favor, leading to positive transformations in both the household and the devotee's life. Additionally, Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth, is said to shower her blessings abundantly. Currently, we are in the month of Paush, and Putrada Ekadashi will be observed on the eleventh day of the waxing phase of this month. This year, the fast will take place on December 30, 2025, marking the final Ekadashi of the year. Simple remedies performed on this day can help in overcoming obstacles related to work, marriage, and can enhance career prospects. Let’s explore these remedies.

Putrada Ekadashi 2025

This year, the bright fortnight of the Paush month will see Putrada Ekadashi commencing on December 30, 2025, at 7:50 AM and concluding the following day, December 31, at 5:00 AM. Thus, the celebration will occur on December 30, 2025.

According to spiritual beliefs, devotees should perform an Abhishek (ritual bathing) of Lord Vishnu using Panchamrit (a blend of milk, yogurt, ghee, honey, and sugar) on Putrada Ekadashi. This practice is thought to eliminate barriers to career growth, enhance promotion prospects, and support business development, while also fostering mental tranquility.
On this day, writing 'Om Vishnave Namah' on a betel leaf and presenting it at Lord Vishnu's feet is considered highly auspicious. This act is believed to please the deity, who then grants his blessings. After the puja, storing this leaf in a safe place is thought to invite financial prosperity.

Additionally, offering bananas to Lord Vishnu and feeding a cow with a roti (flatbread) smeared with ghee and jaggery is recommended. This simple act is believed to bring joy and prosperity to children, enhancing their well-being.

On Putrada Ekadashi, offering three basil leaves to Lord Vishnu after chanting "Shri" eleven times is also suggested. Following this, lighting a lamp near the basil plant in the evening and performing worship is believed to create favorable conditions for blessings.
Moreover, lighting an oil lamp under a peepal tree while chanting the mantra "Om Namo Narayanaya Namah" during the puja is thought to invoke Lord Vishnu's grace, leading to positive changes in one's life.
