A hilarious video of an American dad sampling UK snacks brought back by his daughter and her British husband, has left viewers in stitches. Taylor Marin from Arizona and her husband, Alex Morris, from Preston, Lancashire, have amassed more than 275,000 followers on TikTok, where they regularly post amusing videos showcasing their cultural exchanges.

The pair crossed paths while globetrotting in Australia five years ago and tied the knot earlier this year. One particularly popular video features them introducing Taylor's dad, Robert, to a selection of British snacks.

The TikTok footage kicks off with Robert being handed a packet of Walkers cheese and onion crisps. After taking a bite, he declares "that's good", before eagerly reaching for more, reports the Mirror US.

  • 'I only ate Wetherspoons for three days and this is the best dish on the menu'
  • World's biggest car is 21ft tall with two-storey flat inside and tyres costing £18k each

When Taylor asks: "You like them?", he responds with an enthusiastic: "That's really good," as the camera pans to Alex giving a thumbs-up. "That's excellent", Robert continues, prompting Taylor to chime in with "Ok, share some" and reach into the bag, much to her dad's surprise.

He then asks: "Do they make big bags of this?" adding: "I have to get bags of this."

His excitement is short-lived, however, when Taylor informs him: "You can't get those here." To his disappointed response of "Oh, you can't? ," she clarifies: "No, these are English."

He asks: "Who are they made by? Lays?" Taylor responds: "No, Walkers," which prompts her dad to have a go at pronouncing "Walkers" with an English accent.

Both Walkers and Lays fall under PepsiCo's umbrella, with crisps marketed as Walkers in the UK and Ireland, whilst Lays covers the rest of the globe.

Taylor then passes the packet to her husband, asking: "Want to finish them off?" His response: "Yeah, no problem." According to Walkers, cheese and onion reigns as their bestselling flavour.

Next up, Taylor presents her dad with another favourite. "These are called Wotsits," she explained. Following some bewilderment over the name, Robert suggests: "I would think these [are] kinda probably like Cheetos." Taylor replies: "I think better."

Tearing open the bag, he observes: "Oh, nice and puffy," before popping one in his mouth and breaking into a beaming grin, saying: "That's f****** good."

Alex pipes up, asking: "How good are them?", to which Robert responds: "That's better than Cheetos." "Class, aren't they?", Alex replies.

When asked to rate the snacks, Robert awards the cheese and onion crisps a perfect 10 out of 10, whilst the Wotsits earn a nine, with him adding: "These are good. They're just better than Cheetos."

The video was a hit with viewers, many of whom encouraged Taylor and Alex to introduce Robert to more British treats. One fan commented: "Aw hahaha I love his silly little laugh after trying a Wotsit. Wotsits make anyone feel like a child again."
