On Friday, Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara to pay his respects, coinciding with a three-day Shaheedi Sabha event. This annual gathering takes place from December 25 to 27.
The event commemorates the martyrdom of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh's sons, Sahibzade Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, along with their grandmother, Mata Gujri.
Accompanied by his wife, Mann honored the remarkable sacrifices of the 'Chote Sahibzade' and Mata Gujri. In discussions with reporters, he noted that people from around the world are gathering to pay homage to the supreme sacrifice made by the two younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
To ensure that devotees can pray without any inconvenience at the Gurdwara, Mann mentioned that all necessary arrangements have been made. He also shared that e-rickshaws and shuttle bus services have been organized to facilitate the transportation of pilgrims to and from the Gurdwara Sahib.
