Tamil star Suriya is working on his upcoming film tentatively named ‘Suriya47’. Directed by Venky Atluri and co-starring with ‘Premalu’ fame Mamitha Baiju . The film is currently in the last leg of its shooting phase. Recently, filmmaker Naga Vamsi shared the details regarding the plot of the film.

Naga Vamsi talks about the characters in the filmWhile speaking with Gulte, Naga Vamsi, who is backing the project, shared that the film will be a happy family entertainer with rich emotions. He said, “The movie will explore the relationship between a 45-year-old guy and a 20-year-old girl. The movie shows the rapport between them, the fun moments they share, and also their love. It raises a question of whether two people with such a huge age gap can fall in love.”

He also compared Suriya's role with the intense character played by Suriya in ‘ Ghajini ’. “The shoot will be completed in a couple of days. Suriya’s role will be on the lines of Sanjay Ramasamy in Ghajini,” he added.

Genre of ‘ Suriya46 ’"Suriya 46 will be a proper happy family film, with a very good human emotion," he added.

Tentatively titled, ‘Suriya 47’, the film is set to star Bhavani Sre, Radikaa Sarathkumar and senior Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon in key roles.

Suriya’s work frontOn the work front, Suriya was last seen in the romance action drama, ‘Retro’, which received a positive and mixed response from the audience. Suriya’s presence in the film was praised by the fans. Speaking of his upcoming work, he is also working on a film with director RJ Bajali. Additionally, he is also working on the film tentatively called ‘Suriya 47’, which is helmed by Jithu Madhavan.

On the other hand, Mamitha Baiju has been receiving acclaim with her recent hits, ‘Premalu’ and ‘Dude’. She will also be seen in Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Jana Nayagan’.
