IND vs NZ 2025: Special tickets announced for students, specially-abled fans for Indore ODI

The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) has announced special ticketing initiatives for students and specially-abled spectators for the third and final ODI between India and New Zealand, scheduled to be played on January 18 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The decision has been made to enhance accessibility and inclusivity for one of the most anticipated matches of the series, which will also record the conclusion of India’s first men’s international assignment of 2026.

The India-New Zealand ODI series will begin with matches in Vadodara and Rajkot before culminating in a day-night encounter at the iconic Holkar Stadium. To ensure wider participation, especially among young fans and spectators with disabilities, the association has dedicated quotas and sections for concessional tickets. All tickets for the match will be sold exclusively online through ‘District by Zomato’, MPCA’s official ticketing partner, with no offline sales counters available.

Continuing its long-standing practice, the MPCA has introduced discounted tickets for students in the East Stand (Lower and Second Floor), subject to limited availability. Each eligible student can purchase only one ticket. Prices have been fixed at INR 750 for the East Stand (Lower) and INR 950 for the East Stand (Second Floor), inclusive of applicable taxes.

How can students and specially-abled individuals book tickets?

The application process is divided into two stages. Students must first register online and upload valid documents, such as a current institutional identity card or recent academic records, via the official ticketing portal. Once verified by the MPCA, successful applicants will receive a purchase link via WhatsApp or email. The registration window opens at 11 am on December 31, 2025, and closes at 5 pm on January 1, 2026, or earlier if the quota is exhausted.

A similar system has been implemented for specially-abled spectators. Tickets for this category are priced at INR 300 and have been allocated in the North-East Gallery. Applicants are required to upload a valid government-issued disability certificate during registration. As with student tickets, each eligible fan can purchase only one ticket, while wheelchair users are expected to make their own arrangements on match day. General ticket prices for the Indore ODI range from INR 800 to INR 7,000 across various stands and pavilion levels, excluding additional payment gateway and courier charges.
