MBA Admission 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) has started the application process for admissions to the 2026-28 batch of its Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DS&AI) program through its School of Management (SOM). Candidates can apply for admission to the MBA AI and Data Science program on the official IIT Mandi website until January 27, 2026. Placements can reach up to Rs. 49 lakh LPA. IIT Mandi MBA Admission 2026: Who can apply for admission?
Candidates who appeared for CAT 2025 can apply using their scores. Candidates holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree from Central Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) or institutions included in the top 100 ranking of NIRF 2025 (overall or engineering) can also apply for admission. IIT Mandi MBA Placement: Placements up to Rs. 49 lakh
The institute stated that the School of Management has recently enhanced its academic curriculum and introduced new elective clusters such as Generative AI for Managers, AI-driven Financial Decision Making, and AI for Marketing. IIT Mandi mentioned in its official notice that strong placement results demonstrate the value of the program. The previous batch received an average CTC of 18 LPA and a maximum CTC of 49 LPA during placements. The placement drive included companies from the analytics, consulting, BFSI, technology services, and AI-driven business sectors.
