Ingredients to make carrot laddu
- Carrot – 500 grams
- Sugar – 250 grams
- Khoya – 200 grams
- Coconut flakes – 200 grams
- a handful of cashews, almonds
- Cardamom powder – as per taste
Easy method of making carrot laddu
- Prepare Carrots: Wash the carrots and cut them into 2-3 pieces.
- Boil: Pour water into the cooker and add carrots and boil. Carrots will melt in 2 whistles.
- Fry: Add ghee in the pan and fry the boiled carrots.
- Add Sweeteners: Add sugar to the roasted carrots and mix well and fry again.
- Mix Flavors: Now add cardamom powder, cashew nuts, almonds and khoya and mix well.
- Make Laddu: Let the mixture cool. Apply ghee on the palm and shape it into laddu.
- Coat and Decorate: Coat the laddus with coconut shavings and garnish with cashew nuts and serve.
