You can make millet porridge with the help of some ingredients here, its recipe is very easy…

1 bowl millet
1-2 spoons- Ghee
1/4 cup- peanuts
8-10- Cashews
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1-Dried red chilli
3-4 green chillies
1 inch ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 large size chopped tomato
green coriander

Know how to make millet porridge

  • To make millet porridge, first take 1 bowl of millet, clean it, mash it well and wash it.
  • After washing 2-3 times, filter and separate. Then add half a glass of water and keep it soaked for 8-9 hours.
  • Then add millet, 3 glasses of water and 1 pinch of salt in the cooker, close the lid and cook on medium flame till 8-10 whistles.
  • Then cool it and stir with a spoon to see whether the millet is cooked well or not.
  • After this, keep the pan on low flame gas, add 1-2 spoons of ghee in it and heat it.
  • Then add 1/4 cup peanuts and fry until they turn golden brown.
  • After this, take it out in a bowl.
  • Now add 8-10 cashew nuts in the same ghee and fry them.
  • After this, add half teaspoon cumin, mustard seeds, 1 dry red chilli, 3-4 green chillies, 1 inch piece of ginger in the pan and cook for half a minute.
  • After this, add one-fourth cup carrots, green peas and beans and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Now add 1 big size chopped tomato, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon turmeric and cook.
  • After this, add cooked millet, peanuts and cashew nuts and stir gently.
  • Then cover it and cook it for 2 minutes and then open the lid and add green coriander and serve.
