Becoming a mother often changes the way one looks at life and for Alia Bhatt that shift has been both grounding and empowering. The actor who welcomed her daughter Raha in 2022 recently opened up about how motherhood has reshaped her priorities not by slowing her down completely but by helping her choose her path more mindfully. In a recent conversation with ETimes Alia spoke candidly about how her approach to work has evolved after becoming a mother. She admitted that while her love for acting remains unchanged the pace at which she works has definitely shifted. How has motherhood changed Alia’s work life? “Of course the volume and the speed at which I work now are different” Alia shared. “I’m not doing three films at a time anymore and I’m okay with that. I like doing one film at a time and giving it my full attention.” For Alia this change has brought a sense of balance. She added that slowing down has allowed her to enjoy the process more and be fully present both on set and at home. The actress also mentioned that she is happy with this phase of her life and has no urge to rush into back-to-back projects. Shooting action scenes after motherhood Alia also spoke about shooting her upcoming action film Alpha after becoming a mother. Calling it a completely new experience she said it made her appreciate her body differently. “Doing action after having a baby made me realise what my body is capable of” she shared. “It was challenging but it also made me feel strong and confident. It was a big learning experience.” The film directed by Shiv Rawail is part of YRF’s spy universe and stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol alongside Alia. It is expected to hit theatres in 2026.
