NEET MDS 2026: Application Process Begins March 14, Exam Scheduled for May 2

NEET MDS 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences is set to launch the online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2026) on March 14, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official site at nbe.edu.in. The application window will open at 3:00 PM on March 14.


Application Timeline and Exam Date


The application period will remain open until March 30, 2026, with submissions accepted until 11:55 PM. The NEET MDS examination is scheduled for May 2, 2026, and will be conducted in a single shift using Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, lasting three hours. Results are expected to be announced on June 2, 2026.


After the application period closes, a correction window will be available for candidates to amend any errors in their submitted forms.


Application Fees


The application fees for NEET MDS 2026 are categorized as follows:



  • ₹3,500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.

  • ₹2,500 for SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates.


Eligibility Requirements


Candidates must hold a BDS degree from a Dental Council of India (DCI) recognized institution. Additionally, they should possess either a provisional or permanent registration certificate from the DCI or a State Dental Council. A mandatory 12-month internship must also be completed by May 31, 2026.
