Banks will remain closed at some places on Thursday, 16th April. Due to Bohag Bihu, banking services will be affected in cities like Itanagar and Thiruvananthapuram. If you have any important work, it would be better to complete it beforehand. Apart from this, due to April 19 being a Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.

In total, banks will remain closed for about 16 days in the month of April. This also includes holidays of Sunday and second-fourth Saturday.

April 16: Banks closed in some areas due to Bohag Bihu.
April 20: Holiday in Bengaluru on Basava Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya.
April 21: Banking services affected in Agartala due to Garia Puja.
