Virat Kohli likes picture of German model Liz LazPhotographer Advait Vaidya is a well-known name in India’s fashion and entertainment space. Having worked with some of the biggest models and celebrities, he regularly shares glimpses from his shoots on Instagram. In January, he shared a picture of German model Liz. But the picture came to the forefront on Thursday as Advait noticed Virat had liked it.
He shared a screenshot of the notification and wrote, “How does one react to this.. When the Goat, @virat.kohli .. Likes your Post.. me and @lizlaz_tv are still rubbing our eyes to check if it's actually happening.. haha.. Thank you Goat.”
This reminded netizens of Virat liking a picture shared by Avneet Kaur's fan page. Soon after screenshots of Virat liking the post went viral after which he clarified, “I'd like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding,”.
Soon the photographer's post was filled with netizens trolling Virat Kohli. One wrote, "Virat will once again blame the Instagram algorithm like clockwork," while another commented, "Big paragraph is coming."
Another netizen wrote, "@anushkasharma Bhabhiji unke phone se galti se maine kr diya tha."
Another troller wrote, "Ye Akaay thoda zyada masti nahi kar rha hai aaj kal😝."
However, many fans came to his rescue and commented that it is not a big deal to like someone’s picture. “Why is Kohli liking this photo is problematic and millions of others liking this photo is normal?” read one comment, while another netizen wrote, “So whats the big deal if he liked. Its just a normal pic!! Uff people these days. 🥲”
Even Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal commented on the picture and wrote, “Algorithm.”
