A promising opportunity to secure a government job has emerged for the youth of Puri district. The State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha, has issued a recruitment notification for Librarian positions. Interested candidates may apply until May 30.

This recruitment drive is being conducted for non-government aided colleges within the state. A total of 8 vacancies have been allocated specifically for Puri district under this recruitment process. Age Limit

Candidates applying for this recruitment must meet a minimum age requirement of 21 years, while the maximum age limit has been set at 42 years. The age calculation will be based on January 1, 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations. A relaxation of up to 5 years will be provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and Ex-servicemen categories.

Eligibility

Selection Process

The examination will be of the objective type, comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam will consist of a total of 100 questions, carrying a maximum of 150 marks. A duration of 2 hours will be allotted for the examination. Candidates will be awarded 1.5 marks for every correct answer, while 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Therefore, candidates are advised to answer with due deliberation.
