The Costa Brava is a very popular spot for Brits to holiday. Famous for its white sand beaches, lush greenery and turquoise waters, this hotspot in north-east Spain is often crowded by British tourists looking to relax on the beach.

For a quieter and cheaper alternative, Porthcurno Beach in Cornwall is the UK's own paradise. The beach is dwarfed by towering cliffs that shelter it from the wind and the beautiful clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
