The Australia national football team has officially revealed the list of players who will represent the country in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The announcement was made through the official Instagram account of the Australia national team on Monday, 1 June 2026.

Head coach Tony Popovic has selected 26 players to take part in the 2026 World Cup.

Popovic has chosen a balanced mix of seasoned veterans and emerging young players for the tournament.

A total of 17 players are set to make their World Cup debut this year.

Among those, Cristian Volpato and Tete Yengi—who have yet to appear for the senior national team—are included in the squad and could make their first international appearances in this competition.

Cristian Volpato recently switched his football association allegiance from Italy to Australia.

Meanwhile, Tete Yengi earned his call-up following an impressive run of performances at the club level.

Experienced figures such as Mathew Ryan, Mathew Leckie, and Jackson Irvine have also been included and are expected to play key roles for the Socceroos in the 2026 World Cup.

In the tournament, Australia has been placed in Group D alongside the United States, Paraguay, and Turkey.
