Manchester United have received yet another accolade at the end of the campaign, with the club being recognised twice after a strong finish to their season.

The Red Devils had earlier clinched the Player of the Season award, with Bruno Fernandes taking the honour ahead of Arsenal trio Gabriel, David Raya, and Declan Rice. Fernandes set a new league record for the most assists in a single Premier League season, sealing his spot at the top.

Michael Carrick was among the finalists for the Manager of the Year award, but the prize eventually went to title-winning Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.

Now, United’s goalkeeper Senne Lammens has been named the Premier League’s Signing of the Season.

The 23-year-old Belgian shot-stopper replaced Andre Onana during the summer transfer window and quickly established himself as a commanding figure at Old Trafford. Lammens registered eight clean sheets in 32 league appearances and made 79 saves over the course of the season. He had joined from Antwerp on Deadline Day in a deal worth £18.1 million.

Arsenal forward Viktor Gyokeres and Chelsea striker Joao Pedro were also part of the eight-man shortlist. The list additionally featured former Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka, now leading Sunderland, who guided the Black Cats to a remarkable seventh-place Premier League finish and secured Europa League qualification for the next season.

Other nominees included Bournemouth’s Adrien Truffert, Manchester City duo Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo, and Leeds United’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Gyokeres netted 14 goals in 36 Premier League appearances in his debut top-flight season after moving to Arsenal from Sporting Lisbon in a package deal worth £63.5 million.

Joao Pedro, who transferred from Brighton and Hove Albion to Chelsea for £60 million, scored 15 goals in 35 league matches for the Blues.
