A special screening of Bandar brought the Deol family together ahead of the film’s theatrical releases, with Indian actress Esha Deol sharing her support for her brother Bobby Deol after watching the movie.
Esha attended a screening of Bandar in Mumbai and later posted a picture with Bobby Deol and Tanya Deol on social media. She praised Bobby’s work in the film and encouraged audiences to watch it in theatres.
In her post, Esha wrote, “You are in the best form ever! Undoubtedly the finest actor today. Enduring and vulnerable! Way to go, bhaiya.” She also added, “Go watch Bandar!”
Bobby later shared Esha’s message on his Instagram Stories.
The film presents Bobby Deol as its main actor while Sanya Malhotra and Raj B Shetty and Sapna Pabbi and Saba Azad and Riddhi Sen and Jitendra Joshi and Indrajeet and Nagesh Bhonsle play essential roles. Directed by Anurag Kashyap written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee.
The film marked Bobby Deol’s first collaboration with Anurag Kashyap and was released in cinemas on June 5.
The film previously premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025. It also marked the first collaboration between Bobby Deol and Anurag Kashyap.
Earlier, Bobby had spoken about the project and said, “We all dream of playing characters that bring out the best in us, but such opportunities are not easy to come by. The biggest struggle in this industry is to be recognised for one’s true capabilities. I feel really lucky to have got this opportunity.”
After BandarBobby was set to appear in Alphaa film from the YRF Spy Universe. The project also featured Alia Bhatt, Sharvari and Anil Kapoor in important roles.
Speaking about Alpha, Bobby had said, “It’s a cool action film and a complete entertainer. What I enjoyed most about it is that it knows exactly what it wants to be — a film that gives audiences a fun and exciting time at the theatres.”
Along with this project, Bobby Deol was also working on several upcoming films, including Alphaan action thriller directed by Shiv Rawail, and Jana Supervisora political action drama.
