A horrific road accident occurred on Saturday morning along the Ferozepur-Fazilka road, resulting in the deaths of at least eight individuals and leaving over 15 others critically injured. The tragic incident took place near the village of Jangawala in Ferozepur.

Initial reports indicate that the passengers in the pickup truck were from the Jalalabad area. They were en route to the Radha Swami Dera in Beas to immerse the ashes of a deceased relative. The vehicle was carrying approximately 25 family members when it was struck head-on by a speeding truck.

Eyewitnesses described the collision as extremely violent, resulting in the pickup truck being completely mangled. The scene was chaotic, filled with screams and cries for help.
