Marathi Breaking News Updates : From last few days there is a drastic change in the atmosphere. After a brief break, the Southwest Monsoon has picked up speed. Monsoon has reached 16 states and Union Territories since entering Kerala on June 4. Monsoon is likely to reach North Bengal in the next three to four days. This is causing heavy rains in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Conditions are favorable for rain to reach parts of northwest Bay of Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, along with rest of the northeastern states and parts of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim during the next three days. The influence of westerly winds is likely to intensify over the western Himalayan region from June 11, which may bring rain over parts of northwest India including Delhi-NCR and parts of east India including Bihar.
Currently, the temperature in North India has once again gone above 45 degrees Celsius. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), Southwest Monsoon has now reached all the seven northeastern states including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Assam.
