A Fan’s World Cup Challenge: One Beer from Every Competing Nation

When the announcement came that the World Cup would expand to 48 participating nations, one football fan from England, known as Gus, had more reason than most to celebrate. Popularly called the "World Cup Beers Guy," Gus has taken up a unique personal mission for major tournaments — to collect and taste one beer from each country taking part.

Throughout the duration of the tournament, Gus plans to sample what he calls his "liquid bread" collection. Although he has not disclosed how much he spent on these exotic imports, he did share a full list of the 48 beers on his X channel. Here’s a look at his impressive international line-up:
