It is alleged that there he was asked to offer Namaz and become a Muslim. When the youth protested against this, the accused started beating him. The girl, who came to intervene, was also beaten, due to which she got injured in her leg. The youth has also been injured in this incident.

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police conducted medical examination of the couple and registered a case on the basis of the complaint. Sadar Inspector Chandrakant Mishra said that a case has been registered against the city residents of Nabi Alam, Raunak, Nabi Sher son of Ashiq and Shabbar son of Sadiq Ali. Three accused are being detained and interrogated.
