In the “Prosperous MSME-Developed Madhya Pradesh” program organized at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium in Bhopal on Sunday, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav provided an amount of Rs 360 crore to 900 MSME units with a single click. Besides, letters of intent for allotment of land were distributed to the entrepreneurs and checks of assistance amount were also handed over to the entrepreneurs under Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy.
In fact, with the aim of giving a new direction to Madhya Pradesh entrepreneurship and giving impetus to employment generation, “Prosperous MSME-Developed Madhya Pradesh” program was organized in Bhopal today (14 June 2026), which was inaugurated by CM Yadav by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, he gave checks of the loan amount to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Udyam Kranti Yojana and after talking to the entrepreneurs, he assured full assistance for setting up new industries in the state. Keeping in mind the developed India, Madhya Pradesh government has set a target of one crore registered MSME units by the year 2047. This will create new employment opportunities for more than 2 crore people in the state.
While discussing with the media, CM Dr. Yadav said that the government is continuously encouraging young entrepreneurs. More than 1.25 crore people are getting employment in the state through MSME units. By March 2026, bills worth around Rs 4.4 crore have been given to MSME units. This is the biggest achievement of the government in two and a half years. We are working with these units with commitment to strengthen the state economically. In the Krishi Kalyan year, we have also made many schemes for food-processing units. I hope everyone will take advantage of this too.

5.26 lakh manufacturing units in the state, direct and indirect employment to 44 lakh
Giving information in the program, Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Raghavendra Singh said that there are 5 lakh 26 thousand manufacturing units in the state, in which there is an investment of Rs 42 thousand 700 crore. About 44 lakh people are getting employment directly and indirectly from this.
- Madhya Pradesh government has implemented industry friendly MSME policy. In the last two and a half years, an amount of Rs 3 thousand 723 crore has been given to 6 thousand 136 SSME entrepreneurs in the state as investment assistance.
- In the previous two and a half years, only an amount of Rs 1245 crore was provided. Till now, three times more amount has been given to entrepreneurs as industry incentive.
- The state government has paid all the dues till March 31, 2026. Today an amount of Rs 360 crore has been given to 900 MSME units.
- There are currently 181 industrial areas operating in the state. More than 1000 plots have been allotted to entrepreneurs in the last one year. 44 new industrial areas and clusters are proposed in the state.
Entrepreneurs shared their experiences
- Rashi Mehra, founder of Alana Company, shared her experiences in the program. He told that the beginning of Alana Lip Care brand, which started from Madhya Pradesh, was not easy, today our group is supplying its products in the country and abroad.
- Entrepreneur Kunal Gyani told that we had started a small MSME unit from Madhya Pradesh. Today we have units in 5 states of the country and now we are going to open in UK also. Madhya Pradesh is called the heart of India, in which the cost of operating the industry is the lowest.
