Bayern Munich are currently in discussions with PSV Eindhoven over a possible transfer that would see the talented midfielder make his way to the Bundesliga.

The German champions had already shown interest in Ismael Saibari even before the World Cup kicked off, keeping a close watch on his performances.

According to reports, Bayern Munich have tabled a €53 million (£45.7 million) offer for the PSV star this week. However, the Dutch club are firm on their stance, insisting that the full amount must be paid upfront before any agreement can be finalised.

Morocco international Saibari has further intensified the spotlight on himself by scoring a superb goal and delivering an outstanding display against Brazil, potentially alerting other clubs to his availability.

The reigning African champions, Morocco, entered this tournament once again as potential underdogs, having impressed by reaching the semi-finals at the last World Cup in Qatar.

Meanwhile, Brazil arrived with a point to prove after a challenging qualification campaign that prompted the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager last year.
