A 60-year-old taxi driver was taken to hospital after two cabs collided at Jewel Changi, part of Singapore’s Changi Airport, which was recently named the World’s Best Airport 2026 by Skytrax.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at around 12 a.m. on June 13, Straits Times reported. The injured driver was conscious when he was transported to a nearby hospital.
A second taxi driver, aged 72, is assisting police with their investigations, Asia One reported.
Videos shared online following the incident showed two ComfortDelGro taxis stopped along a basement ramp near the airport complex. One of the vehicles appeared to have sustained significant damage to its bodywork.

Police officers, security personnel and paramedics were seen at the scene, with emergency responders attending to a person lying on the ground.
According to video footage, the crash occurred near the taxi stand serving both Terminal 1 and Jewel Changi Airport.
In a statement, Singapore-based multi-national transport group ComfortDelGro said it was aware of the incident and confirmed that neither taxi was carrying passengers at the time of the collision.
“Safety is our top priority and we are cooperating with the authorities in their investigation,” the company said. The accident comes amid growing concerns over road safety in Singapore.
