There is important news for students who participated in the CBSE's second board examinations. According to media reports, the board is likely to release the results soon. The results will be announced online via the official CBSE website, results.cbse.nic.in; students can check their results directly by entering their login details. A direct link to the results will also be made available on the DigiLocker website.
**93.70% of students passed the main exam**
It is worth noting that 2.5 million (25 lakh) students appeared for the CBSE main examination, with a pass rate of 93.70%. Subsequently, the CBSE conducted a second board examination from May 15 to May 21, in which approximately 680,000 (6.8 lakh) students participated.
**Best marks from both exams will be considered final**
Students should note that the higher marks obtained in either the main examination or the second board examination will be considered final. Once the results are declared, marksheets will be sent to schools, where students can collect them by contacting their class teacher or principal.
**Students who fail must retake the exam**
Students who failed the initial board exam and subsequently participated in the second board exam will be considered failed if they do not pass this time either. Such students will have to appear for the examination again next year.
**How to check the result once declared**
After the CBSE Class 10 second board result is declared, visit the official website: results.cbse.nic.in.
Click on the result link available on the website's homepage.
Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and security pin.
The result will appear on the screen; you can view it and download a copy of the marksheet.
