DRDO LRDE Paid Internship 2026: The Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru—operating under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)—has announced recruitment for internship positions. This internship program offers engineering and science students the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge Research and Development (R&D) activities within the defense sector.

Last date for receipt of applications: July 1, 2026
Notification to selected candidates: July 15, 2026
Internship start date: August 1, 2026

Recruitment for a Total of 75 Positions
A total of 75 internship vacancies have been announced. These include 35 positions for Electronics & Communication, 20 for Computer Science, 10 for Mechanical, 8 for Electrical, and 2 for Civil Engineering.

6-Month Internship
Selected candidates will undergo a six-month internship. During this period, they will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. The total amount of ₹30,000 will be disbursed in two installments: the first after three months and the second upon successful completion of the internship.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be Indian citizens. Final-year BE/BTech students who have appeared for at least their sixth-semester examinations are eligible to apply.
Additionally, final-year ME/MTech and MSc students who have appeared for their second-semester examinations may also apply. Candidates are required to have secured a minimum of 70% marks or an equivalent grade at the time of application.

Opportunities to Work in These Fields
Interns will have the opportunity to work on projects in areas such as Electronics, AI & Machine Learning, Deep Learning, FPGA, Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, Power Systems, Mechanical Design, Radar Technology, and other technical domains.

Application Process
Candidates must fill out the prescribed application form and submit their applications through their respective colleges. Applications submitted directly by students will not be accepted. A recommendation letter from the college, mark sheets, college ID, and a copy of the Aadhaar card must be attached to the application.
