Since INEOS assumed control of Manchester United’s sporting operations, the club has adopted a notably assertive approach in acquiring promising young footballers.

Whether it involves strengthening the first-team squad with signings such as Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven, or safeguarding the club’s long-term future through deals for Cristian Orozco and Diego Leon, the new co-owners have demonstrated a proactive stance in recruitment.

This renewed focus has reflected clearly in the performance of United’s academy, with both the Under-18 and Under-21 teams delivering impressive campaigns last season.

The Red Devils are expected to maintain this aggressive strategy in the current window, with reports already linking them to Manchester City’s David Eze and Liverpool’s forward Vincent Joseph.

The 20-time English league champions are reportedly planning to bring in three more highly-rated youngsters to strengthen their talent pipeline at Carrington.

According to Sully and Academy Scoop, two well-regarded sources for Manchester United-related updates, the club is monitoring Charlton Athletic’s Tyrie Arojogun, Derby County’s Blake Henry, and Liverpool’s Isaac Konde.

One report stated: “Manchester United are targeting several of the nation’s most exciting young players this summer as part of their long-term recruitment strategy.

“Manchester City’s David Eze is a player of significant interest, having been invited to visit the Carrington training complex this week alongside his representatives. The expectation is that Eze will sign for United despite competition from multiple Premier League sides.

“United are also keen on Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph, although his next move remains uncertain at this point, with a number of English and European clubs expressing interest. Joseph, who holds a German passport, could make a move abroad during the summer.”

“Charlton Athletic’s Tyrie Arojogun, Derby County’s Blake Henry and Liverpool’s Isaac Konde are among other players on United’s radar. The club intends to act decisively in the market to secure some of England’s finest young prospects.”

All three players are attack-minded talents, with Konde having particularly impressed for Liverpool’s Under-18 side last season.

If United succeed in bringing in two of Merseyside’s brightest prospects alongside a collection of top English youngsters, it would underscore INEOS’s serious commitment to youth development.

After years of relative neglect under the Glazer ownership, fans can look forward to Carrington once again becoming a hub of emerging football talent across England.
