In today's time, the Aadhaar card has become a very important document. It is required everywhere, be it bank, SIM card, government schemes, or school admission. But do you know that if someone misuses your Aadhaar number, you can get its information? You can easily check it sitting at home. You will not have to do much for this. Below we are telling its simple process with the help of which you will be able to check whether someone is misusing your Aadhaar card or not.
Aadhaar Activity History
You can go to the UIDAI website yourself and check where and when your Aadhaar has been used. This is called Authentication History.
What is Authentication History?
Whenever your Aadhaar card is used for any work like KYC, buying a SIM card, bank verification, etc., then its information is saved in the UIDAI records. By looking at this record online, you can know whether your Aadhaar was used at the right place or for the wrong work.
How to check the Aadhaar Authentication History?
For this, first, go to UIDAI's website - https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Click on the Login option and enter your Aadhaar number.
Its OTP will come on your registered mobile number. After this, log in by entering the OTP.
After logging in, select the option of Aadhaar Authentication History.
Select your date such that you can easily see the history of the last 6 months.
Now a list will appear on the screen in which it will be written when, where, and how your Aadhaar has been used.
If you see any entry in the list that you have not made, then immediately contact the UIDAI helpline or go to your nearest Aadhaar service center.
