Pakistan sponsors terrorism in the entire world and provides safe havens to UN-designated terrorists like Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar, and many others... When the Indus Water Treaty happened in 1960, Sindh had no representation since Pakistan did not represent Sindh, and nor did it think about Sindh's interests at all... Before Pakistan’s formation in 1947, Sindh’s Sindhu Delta was among the world’s most prosperous regions, thriving in agriculture and ecology. However, the construction of dams and barrages by Pakistan, primarily benefiting Punjab, has led to severe environmental degradation and economic decline in Sindh. According to the 1945 water distribution records, Sindh received 25% of the water share from Punjab’s rivers... After the Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan's aggressive canal and dam construction destroyed the natural flow to our delta, severely impacting Sindh’s survival... Punjab has broken past promises, fraudulently diverting water meant for Sindh... Punjab is building six new canals, causing widespread anger across Sindh... No new canals or dams should be constructed without binding international guarantees... The people of Sindh continue to protest... The very survival of Sindh is at stake... We want separate international guarantees on Indus Water Treaty..."
