News India Live, Digital Desk: The producing house Dharma Productions of the film ‘Homebound’, a film ‘Homebound’ by critics, has released an official statement in response to allegations of recent misconduct against the film’s cinematographer Prateek Shah.
After these claims, Dharma Productions has clarified that no formal complaint was made against Shah during the production of the film.M.
A statement was issued by the production company, stating, “In Dharma Productions, we have a policy of zero-assessment against inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment towards anyone working with us, and we take cases of sexual harassment very seriously.”
The statement further stated that Shah, who worked as an independent cinematographer in ‘Homebound’, was appointed for a limited period.
The production house emphasized that no complaint was filed before the Internal Committee established under the prevention of sexual harassment during this period (POSH) guidelines.
The statement further said, “Mr. Prateek Shah was a freelancer on the homebound project and was working for a limited period. His contract with us has been completed. During this limited period, our internal committee for POSH did not receive any complaint against him from any artist or crew of our film homebound.”
‘Homebound’, which made history as the only Indian film to be screened in the An Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival this year, has attracted important international attention.
