With a reported production budget of ₹225 crore (excluding print and advertising), the film has become the costliest comedy ever made in India, surpassing the likes of Housefull 4 and Golmaal Again.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Dostana fame Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 boasts a massive ensemble of 19 A-list actors.
