UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is going to bring a new mobile app that you will be able to do work like changing the mobile number sitting at home, updating the address, even fingerprint and iris verification.

Nowadays, every government and private work requires an Aadhaar card. People often keep their photocopies with them. But now you will not have to do this. UIDAI is bringing a system that can be shared from from mobile or an app through a QR code.

This will ease the work like hotel check-in, train ticket booking, and hshowingidentity. And the best thing – your data will be shared only with your consent.

Fingerprint and iris will also be updated from home (Aadhaar Card Update App)

According to UIDAI’s CEO Bhuvanesh Kumar, this facility can start by November. Through the app, you will be able to give biometric information from mobile – that is, now you will not have to go to the center for fingerprint and iris scan.

So far, about 2,000 machines out of one lakh have been connected to the new system. In the coming time, more devices will be connected to this tool.

Fake documents will be controlled (Aadhaar Card Update App)

UIDAI is now planning to directly link the government databases like birth certificate, driving license, passport, PAN card, and MNREGA data to add information to Aadhaar. Due to this, people will not have the hassle of uploading documents, and fake documents will also be stopped.

Preparations are also going on to connect with the electricity bill database, so that the address is more easy to verify.

The new Aadhaar app will also be able to stop fraud in property purchase and sale. UIDAI is advising the states to adopt Aadhaar-based verification for identification in the registrar's office.

Under this new facility, your Aadhaar data will be shared only when you give consent. This means that now the information about your identity will be more secure and transparent.

This new app of UIDAI will solve people’s daily problems. There is no need to put a line for updating Aadhaar, it is not necessary to take the identity card – everything will be from mobile now, that too with complete security and consent.
