This omelette paratha is so amazing that whoever eats it once will keep licking his fingers. Also, it is full of nutrients, so let’s know how to make this unique and delicious recipe:

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • Wheat flour: 1 cup (the base of our desi roti!)

  • Eggs: 2-3 (the king of protein!)

  • Onion: 1 small (finely chopped – for crunch)

  • Green chilli: 1 (finely chopped – for taste and a little sweetness, as per your choice)

  • Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp (finely chopped – for freshness)

  • Salt: as per taste

  • Red chili powder: 1/2 teaspoon (or according to taste)

  • Oil or Ghee: for frying

Easy recipe for making Omelette Paratha (Let’s Get Cooking!):

  1. Knead the dough: Firstly, add a little salt to the wheat flour and knead a soft dough, just like you knead for roti. Keep it covered for 10-15 minutes so that it sets.

  2. Prepare the omelette mixture: Break the eggs in a large bowl. Add finely chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, salt and red chili powder. Whisk it well until everything blends together and a light mixture is formed.

  3. Make dough balls and roll them: Make equal sized balls of the dough. Now take one ball and roll it like a roti. Keep in mind that the roti should neither be too thin nor too thick.

  4. Start baking the Omelette Paratha: Heat a pan and lightly fry the rolled out roti on both the sides, so that it gets cooked a little.

  5. Now add the magic of eggs: Remove the roti from the pan and place it on a plate. Now pour some oil or ghee on the same hot pan. Pour the prepared egg mixture in the hot oil and spread a thin omelette.

  6. Mix it with the paratha: When the omelette is lightly cooked (i.e. set from one side), place the rolled half-cooked roti over the omelette and press it gently.

  7. Flip and cook: Now gently flip the omelette and roti together. Cook well from the other side too, until the paratha becomes golden and crisp. Apply some oil or ghee on the edges and keep cooking.

  8. Ready! Hot omelette paratha is ready! Serve it with curd, chutney or your favorite sauce.

This omelette paratha will not only make your breakfast amazing but will also keep you energized all day long. Do try it once and enjoy the healthy taste!
