EPFO increased the auto-settlement limit from ₹ 1 lakh to ₹ 5 lakh

New Delhi: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has now increased the maximum limit of auto-settlement of PF claims to ₹ 5 lakh. Earlier this limit was ₹ 1 lakh. The purpose of this change is to provide quick and more spontaneous service to PF members.
This new border will apply in cases where claims are verified online and Aadhaar. According to EPFO, this decision will give a large number of members to pay rapid payments and will reduce the requirement of manual process. EPFO has taken this decision further strengthening its digital processing system, making the claim settlement process even more transparent and effective.
