Material for making moong dal pudding

  • Moong Dal- Soak 1/2 cup of water for 5 to 6 hours
  • Ghee – 1/2 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup (mixed with water and milk)
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Almonds, roasted – 2 tablespoons

Recipe

1. To make moong pudding, first wash the moong and grind it coarsely.
2. After this, heat the milk mixture and let it boil and heat it as required.
3. Now add ghee and lentils in a pan and fry it well while stirring on low flame continuously.
4. Add a mixture of milk to the fried lentils and mix it well and cook on low heat so that all the water and milk dries completely. Fry well till the ghee is separated.
5. Add cardamom powder and half almonds and mix well.
6. Remove the halwa in a serving dish, decorate the halwa of moong dal with the remaining almonds and serve hot.
