Design and Styling

The look of the Himalayan 750 matches the traditional Himalayan DNA, but it also has a very modern touch. The bike has a round LED headlamp and a high windscreen which provides wind protection during long rides.

Strong metal guards have been provided around the tank which give the bike a rough and tough look as well as provide protection. Apart from this, the seating position of the bike is quite comfortable for long riding, due to which the rider does not get tired.

Engine and performance

In this new Himalayan 750, the company is going to give a 750cc twin-cylinder engine which will be an upgraded version of the existing 648cc engine. This engine will generate power of about 55 bhp, which will not only help it run fast on the highway, but will also give plenty of torque for off-roading.

This bike has a new radiator and upswept exhaust, which improves its performance and ground clearance. Also, the 6-speed gearbox helps this bike maintain high speed stability.

High Altitude Testing

Royal Enfield has tested the Himalayan 750 at Khardung La pass in Ladakh, which is at an altitude of 18,380 feet. The temperature there is very low and there is also less oxygen in the air. In such a situation, testing the performance of the bike here shows that the company is preparing it for every situation. If a bike is successful on Khardung La, then it is considered ready to run on any road in the world.

Who will be the competing bikes?

The Himalayan 750 will compete directly with mid-weight adventure bikes like the KTM 390 Adventure, CFMoto 450 MT and BMW G310GS. But its bigger engine, torque and brand value can give it a distinct identity in the market.

Also, it will be positioned above the Himalayan 450, so that customers will have more options. The company plans to make this bike a one-stop solution for both touring and off-roading.

Royal Enfield now moving towards electric and high capacity

Royal Enfield is not limited to only Himalayan 750. The company is now also working on the electric bike Himalayan Electric, which can be launched by 2026. This makes it clear that Royal Enfield is moving towards sustainable mobility along with traditional petrol bikes.

Under this strategy, the company is not only targeting the Indian market, but also wants to strengthen its hold in the international market. Especially in markets like Europe and America where the craze for adventure and electric bikes is increasing.

Could the Himalayan 750 be your next bike?

If you are looking for an adventure bike that can handle long distance rides as well as rough roads with confidence, then the Himalayan 750 could be a great option for you.

Its powerful engine performance, advanced features and the trust of Royal Enfield make it an all-rounder adventure bike. It is expected to be launched in 2026, and its price is also going to be in the mid-premium range, making it attractive to both professional and amateur riders.
