
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued strict instructions to the officials regarding the Kavand Yatra. He said that there should be no sale of meat etc. in the open anywhere on the Kanwar Yatra route. He gave strict directions to the Police Commissioners, Mandalayuktas, District Magistrates and Senior Police Superintendents regarding the upcoming Kanwar Yatra, Moharram and Rath Yatra.

The Chief Minister clearly stated that, the sound of DJs, Dhol-Tasha and music on the route remained in accordance with the prescribed standards. Kanfodu voice and inflammatory slogans will not be accepted in any case. Also said that during the procession, cutting trees, removing slums and destroying the shelter of the poor will not be accepted at all. CM Yogi also clarified that the performance of weapons in religious visits and political use of religious symbols are elements that are strictly banned.
He said that there should be no sale of meat etc. in the open anywhere on the Kanwar Yatra route. Proper arrangement of travel routes sanitation, sanitization, street lighting, drinking water, toilets and first aid should be ensured. Dilated electric pole and hanging wires should be repaired immediately. The centers should be verified by verifying the institutions setting up the camp.
Also said, during the holy Shravan month from 11 July to 09 August, festivals like traditional Kavad Yatra, Shravani Shivaratri, Nagpanchami and Rakshabandhan will be celebrated. During the same period, Jagannath Rath Yatra is possible from 27 June to 08 July and Moharram from 27 June to 06/07 July. This entire period is very sensitive in terms of law and order, medical, hygiene, education and disaster management of the state. Therefore, all concerned departments and district administration should work responsibly with coordination.
