
New Delhi: The Director of Technical Education (DTE), Thiruvananthapuram is all set to conduct the Kerala State Design and Aptitude Test (KS DAT) 2025 exam today, June 29. Candidates appearing for the entrance exam need to carry the KS DAT admit card 2025 and a valid identity proof. The KS DAT 2025 will be conducted for a duration of one hour and 40 minutes.
The KS DAT exam paper will include a total of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from five sections which include social and basic sciences (Class 10 level), general knowledge, English language, numerical ability and analytical aptitude and design awareness. The paper will be only in the English language. As per the KS DAT marking scheme, for every correct answer, one mark will be awarded.

KS DAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
- Carry the admit card and a valid identity proof such as aadhaar, passport and similar other as it is mandatory for entry and identity verification.
- . Check that the name, photograph, exam date and centre details are correctly printed.
- Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes early, as candidates who are late will be denied entry.
- Carry only essential stationery such as pens, pencils, erasers, and drawing tools.
- Electronic devices such as phones, calculators, smartwatches, or headphones are strictly prohibited.
- Wear comfortable, simple clothing to facilitate quick security checks. Avoid dresses with metal like buttons and jewellery to help smooth entry.
- Listen carefully to the instructions of the invigilator.
- Maintain decorum, avoid disturbing others and follow the seating plan. Any misconduct or unfair behaviour may lead to disqualification.
