The monsoon in Uttar Pradesh has finally knocked with its full force. This news has brought a sigh of relief for people who are meditating with heat and humidity. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of torrential rain in many parts of the state from the night of 29 June to 2 July. During this time there will also be a risk of strong winds and celestial electricity. This is the time to take care, because the weather patterns have now changed completely. Let us understand every aspect of this seasonal change.
Monsoon activism and orange alert cause
Experts from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) say that the change in atmospheric conditions has further activated the monsoon. The moist winds rising from the Bay of Bengal have made the weather of Uttar Pradesh favorable for rain. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in many districts of eastern and western UP for the next four days. Along with this, strong winds at a speed of 40-50 kmph can also make the weather more dramatic. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel.
Relief from heat, but caution is important
For the last few days, humidity and heat in many parts of Uttar Pradesh had made people live. Temperatures in areas like Gonda, Balrampur, and Lakhimpur Kheri reached 38 degrees Celsius. But now the monsoon rains have made the weather pleasant. Since Saturday night, light rain has started in many areas, which has reduced the temperature. However, the risk of celestial lightning has also increased with heavy rains and strong winds. Therefore, people are being advised not to stop under open grounds and trees.
Which districts are in danger?
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning to be vigilant especially in some districts. Purvanchal and Terai areas include Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Ayodhya and Ambedkarnagar. Apart from this, heavy rains are also expected in Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Chandauli and Sonbhadra in western and central UP. Eastern border districts like Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj and Siddharthnagar may also receive torrential rains with stormy winds.
