Suddenly his steps start to falter and he sits on his knees on the pitch. In a few seconds, he falls completely on the ground. Other players on the field run towards him, but by then it is too late.

Fellow players could not save Harjeet Singh

This tragic incident is from Ferozepur district of Punjab, where batsman Harjit Singh died suddenly during a cricket match at DAV School ground. Soon after hitting the six, he fell on the pitch. Fellow players ran to help him unconscious and an attempt was made to give him a CPR on the spot, but he died immediately due to a heart attack.

Such an accident has happened in Mumbai too

Earlier in June 2024, a similar incident also came to light in Mumbai. 42 -year -old Ram Ganesh Tevar died during a cricket match there. As soon as he ran to take a run with a six on the ball. After a few moments he got a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital in a hurry, but doctors declared him dead. This incident also went viral on social media.
