“Kannappa “‘s great grip at the box office, towards earning 20 crores in the first weekend

New Delhi: Vishnu Manchu’s ambitious film “Kannappa” is performing brilliantly at the box office. The film had a strong opening of ₹ 9.35 crore on the first day of its release. On the second day too, the film maintained its grip at the box office and collected ₹ 7 crores, which has made the total earnings to ₹ 16.35 crore in two days.

The mythological action-drama film is exceptionally well in the Telugu-speaking areas. The Telugu version on Saturday saw an impressive busy busy busy busy. The morning show started with 27% and by night the figure rose to 58.54%.

“Kannappa” is not only liking the Telugu audience, but also the audience of other languages. In Tamil Nadu, the film recorded a total of 19.84% busyness, which saw an increase in the afternoon and night shows. The film has been successful in attracting the audience due to the stars adorned and universal story. The Hindi version was busy with 17.37%, and it saw improvement in the evening and night shows, which is expected to earn more in weekends. However, the reaction in the Malayalam version remained slightly slow.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, “Kannappa” is the story of a tribal hunter, Thinnadu, who becomes a great devotee of Lord Shiva. The film depicts his unwavering devotion and the great moment when he sacrifices his eyes to stop the blood flowing from the Shivling. Vishnu Manchu has played the lead role, and with him Mohan Babu, R.K. There are also artists like Sarathkumar, and Madhu. Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal and Mohanlal are also in a brief but important roles in the film.
