Health Desk. Whether it is heat or infection, the problem of frequent urination irritation can be very common but extremely painful. This irritation is often caused by urinary tract infection (UTI), lack of water in the body, spicy food or high sugar level. You can get initial relief by trying some home remedies if you want before medicines.

1. Consume more water and coconut water

Dehydration in the body can be the main cause of urination irritation. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day. Along with this, coconut water also gives coolness and electrolytes to the body, which cleanses urination and relieves irritation.

2. Use coriander water

Soak one teaspoon of whole coriander in a glass of water overnight. Sieve it in the morning and drink it on an empty stomach. This remedy is also considered effective for urinary problems in Ayurveda.

3. Eat Gulkand and Cold things

Gulkand reduces the heat of the body and calms the urinary tract. Taking one teaspoon of gulkand milk or water daily in the morning and evening can provide relief in irritation.

4. Eat gooseberry juice or jam

Amla rich in vitamin C helps in fighting urine infection. Consumption of gooseberry juice, marmalade or powder is helpful in reducing irritation and cleaning the urethra.

5. Baking soda water (with caution)

Drinking half a teaspoon baking soda mixed with a glass of water reduces the acidity of the urine, which can relieve irritation. However, this remedy should not be adopted continuously – it is better to take it with the advice of the doctor.
