90s Actress Kanchan became a prominent name in Hindi Telugu and Malayalam industries. She rose to fame after appearing alongside Karsima Kapoor and Govinda in Coolie No 1. Released in 1995 the film became a major box office success and turned a cult classic in Hindi cinemas history. Kanchan played Karismas younger sister in the film and is still remembered for her outstanding performance in romantic comedy drama. She won hearts with her on-screen persona and later collaborated with other stars such as Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. Despite this she failed to sustain longer in Bollywood. Why Kanchan failed to grab success in Bollywood? Kanchan was a well-know name in the industry and also starred in hit films like Sanam Bewafa Kranti Kshetra Jumana and Paandav. She starred as a lead actress opposite Akshay Kumar in Amaanat but the film failed to become a success and couldnt save her career.
