In a private school in North Bangalore, a ninth grade student has made serious allegations like sexual harassment on her mother. The student said in her complaint that her 45 -year -old mother has been treating her inappropriately for the last one year. She claims that the mother used to give her ‘sex training’, so that she could be ‘successful’ in married life with her husband in future. He says that he sometimes scolded or lightly punished for keeping his daughter in discipline, but allegations like sexual abuse are completely baseless.

The matter was revealed when a woman counselor who came to the school regularly spoke to the student. During the counseling session, the student shared her tragedy, after which the counselor immediately informed the police. The police, taking prompt action, registered a case under the Poxo Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses). A female police officer reached the girl’s house in plain clothes and talked to her. During this time, the police also questioned the girl’s elder sister, but she did not give any concrete information in the matter.

The police has started questioning the mother in custody. However, the official statement of the victim student has not been recorded yet. According to police sources, this is a sensitive matter, and all aspects are being taken into consideration in the investigation. The mother says that she had some family differences with the daughter, and possibly for this reason the daughter made such allegations against her.
