How is such a long flight possible?

1. Ayer-to-air refueling (air filling in the air): The B-2 bomber has the facility to fill the air fuel many times during its mission. America’s KC-135 or KC-46 tanker aircraft give it mid-air refueling, so that it does not need to hit the runway.

2. Diesine and aerodynamics: B-2’s flying wing design is a very fuel efficient. It has a low drag in the body so that it can fly for a long time.

How do pilots fly for so long?

The B-2 bomber consists of two pilots and also has basic comfort facilities-such as comfortable seats, portable toilets, food storage and oxygen support. Pilots undergo special mental and physical training before the mission to handle 40+ hours of flight continuously.
