A number of Chelsea players will see their time at the club come to an end today.

In total five players will wave goodbye to Stamford Bridge for good due to their contracts expiring on June 30. However, unlike a number of other clubs, the list of stars leaving west London does not include any high profile first team squad members, instead it is comprised mainly of youth players yet to make their mark on the game.

The most high profile name to be departing is arguably Lucas Bergstrom, one of three back-up goalkeepers moving on to new pastures this summer. The 22-year-old has not made a senior appearance for the club, but has been involved in plenty of matchday squads. In particular this season he's been involved in nearly all of the Blues' UEFA Conference League clashes, only failing to make the bench on two occasions.

Elsewhere, Eddie Beach is also leaving. Like Bergstrom, the 21-year-old did not make a senior appearance for the Blues. Beach spent the first half of last season at Crawley Town, however his loan move did not prove fruitful, making just one appearance before heading back to Cobham in January. Reports suggest he could be moving to Kilmarnock following the expiration of his contract at Chelsea.

Another goalkeeper Luke Campbell is also leaving the club. The 19-year-old has been on the books at Cobham for a decade, spending the first half of last season on loan at Hendon.

However, the keeper confirmed he would be leaving the club on Instagram, posting an emotional message which read: "Dear Chelsea Football Club, After ten incredible years, it is time for us to part ways. Thank you everyone for the love, memories, and support over the years, it won’t be forgotten." His teammate Beach commented on the post with a simple message, stating: "All the best big man. What a guy."

One of the stars leaving already knows his next destination. 17-year-old Marcell Washington is already all-but confirmed to be signing for Arsenal after being released by Chelsea, having already taken part in Premier League 2 matches for the Gunners. The left-back is said to have impressed in training sessions with the development squad, though he has also been present for some sessions with the senior team.

The final player leaving is Dylan Williams. The 21-year-old joined Chelseain 2022, having come through the ranks at Derby County. However, he is another on the list who did not go on to make a senior appearance for the club.

The last year was spent on loan at Burton Albion, where it has been confirmed he will move to on a permanent basis when his contract with the Blues expires.
